Every woman has a story…
At one time or the other, we all face challenges and changes.
We are busy, we juggle, we hustle, we support, we provide and we take care of friends and family.
You are a strong, resilient, beautiful and courageous woman.
While we are being strong, we often forget to be kind to ourselves. We forget how to rest, how to recharge and how to find joy in the simple things. We put our lives on hold while trying to take care of everyone and everything else.
We put our heads down and try to cope with the challenges of life and sometimes we lose our selves, lose our focus, lose our joy and lose our way in the process.
Women Empowering Projects was created to empower women to fulfil their God-given destiny in all areas of their lives. Our goal is to challenge, encourage and motivate women to be all they can be. We also encourage, support and comfort women that are going through difficult life challenges or those who feel alone and overwhelmed.
We believe that God created woman as a container of great value

Our Events…
At our events, we aim to celebrate every woman that has decided to live her life to the fullest, every woman that has decided to open a new chapter in her life, and every woman that has decided to rewrite her own story.
Women are Celebrated
Every woman deserves to be celebrated and applauded for her role in her home and in the society. What better way to do that than with her peers who also share similar experiences and journeys.
Women are Rejuvenated
Our Events are carefully put together to meet the needs of the woman who feels alone, stressed, overwhelmed or lost her place in life. Women Empowering Projects creates the right atmosphere where women can hang out, relax and recharge their batteries for their everyday life journeys. Between juggling the family, a career and business, a woman can lose herself and so we want to feed the woman’s spirit through the word of God, her physical body through our events and wellness program and her mind through encouragement and information. At our events women are encouraged to stop the juggling for just a few hours and enjoy themselves! We believe these times of refreshment will help us discover ourselves again and gain a better perspective on life.
Women are Motivated
As women we have the capacity to juggle so much but who motivates the motivator? Sometimes life can get us down even though we are known to be resilient in our approach to life. We want to be there for the times when you are not at your best and just need a little bit of encouragement. We invite you to our events to come and refresh your minds and replenish your strength for life’s great journey. Everyone needs someone but it is not every day your friends will be there for you. We want to be the people you come to when no one else is at the end of the phone. We want to hold your hand when you go through life challenges. We want to be the passenger in your car as you journey through life.
Founder Story:
My name is Rachel Bammeke – but just call me “Grateful Rachel”.
My passion is to encourage, motivate and empower women to enjoy life and live a life of significance no matter what you are going through or what you have been through.
Women Empowering Projects was founded in 2012. Rachel started WEP because she believes every woman deserves a place of respite where she can offload her burdens; be it amongst friends, her God, or through events such as WEP.
Rachel is a wife and a mother. She is also a qualified teacher and has been successfully running a tutoring business since 2005. Her passion for women developed over the years; she is known to be a source of strength and support to women who face varying challenges in their lives. She has also successfully organised various events to bring like-minded women together to encourage and support them at different levels. Rachel loves shopping, travelling, going out and meeting new people.
